Connect Rozgar — Dispute Policy

Version: 0.1-draft  ·  Last updated: 22 August 2026

What we can and cannot do

Connect Rozgar is a platform, not a court. We can:

  • look at the record of what happened on the platform
  • hear both sides
  • act on accounts: warnings, restrictions, suspension
  • correct ratings that came from a job that did not happen
  • reverse a platform fee where the job did not happen

We cannot force anyone to pay, order compensation, or decide who is legally right. For that, ordinary legal routes apply — and for smaller amounts, consumer forums or the police may be appropriate.

Being honest about this up front is better than implying a protection that does not exist.

Raising a dispute

Either side may raise one within 7 days of the job's scheduled end.

You will be asked for: what happened, what you want, and any evidence — photos, messages, or the job record itself.

What happens next

StageWhat it means
OPENReceived; the other side has been asked to respond
UNDER REVIEWAn administrator is looking at it
RESOLVEDA decision was reached and acted on
REJECTEDNot enough evidence, or outside what we can act on
CLOSEDWithdrawn, or settled between the parties

We aim to respond within 3 working days. Complicated cases take longer, and we will say so rather than go quiet.

What we look at

The job record (times, check-ins, status changes), messages sent through the app, evidence submitted, and each side's history. A first complaint against someone with a long clean record reads differently from the fifth in a month.

Common cases

"The worker did not turn up." Checked against the job record. Confirmed no-shows are recorded against the worker.

"The employer did not pay." Until online payment exists we cannot verify payment directly, so we rely on both accounts and on history. Confirmed non-payment is recorded and affects the employer's standing.

"The work was not done properly." Usually a matter between the two of you. We can look at evidence and take rating or account action where a pattern emerges.

"The job was not what was described." If confirmed, the worker is not penalised for leaving, and the listing may be removed.

Fairness

Both sides are heard before a decision. Decisions are recorded with a reason. Administrators cannot see the dispute queue unless their role permits it, and every action they take is logged.

If you think a decision was wrong, reply and ask for it to be looked at again.
